Aisha is a fourth-year undergraduate student in International Relations and Arabic at the University of St Andrews. Her main areas of interest include human rights law and the role of international organisations within the international landscape. She is currently a research assistant on Dr Muireann O’Dwyer’s project concerning power dynamics of economic governance in the European Union. Aisha is also on the POP committee for the United Nations Association – liaising with the UN House Scotland and UN Association UK – to send briefing papers to the Scottish Parliament on current issues being discussed. Following graduation, Aisha hopes to pursue a Masters Degree in International Law.
