BIO

Andrew is Professor of International Relations at the University of St Andrews. His most recent books include France, Britain and the United States in the 20th Century: 1900 – 1940 (2014) and a second volume, 1940 – 1961 (2020). Volume 3 is in the works, 1961 – 1970. He is also planning a new book after that on ‘France and the International’, a history of ideas. Other recent works include: Liberalism and War: The Victors and the Vanquished (2006) and Failed Imagination? The Anglo-American New World Orders from Wilson to Bush, 2nd edition (2007). Andrew was Editor of the International History Review from 2010 to 2016.
