Adina Bezerita

PhD Candidate, International Relations

Adina Bezerita, FRSA, Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, alumna of Cambridge, Oxford and a PhD Candidate in International Relations at the University of St Andrews, is a Romanian-American philosopher and scholar. Adina’s PhD thesis on Ancient Philosophy in Global Politics: The Platonic-Aristotelian Helix in International Relations, supervised by Prof. Anthony F. Lang Jr., investigates emergent research in political philosophy and global governance with its practical application in policy improvement. As President of the Honorary Council for Science, Innovation and Technology (COSIT) for the Romanian Government Ministry of Education and Research (MEC), previously with the Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digitalisation (MCID), she actively contributes to knowledge advancement, political and social progress. Her foundation, Numinous Threads, develops and presents innovative interdisciplinary projects in ancient wisdom relevant across the humanities and sciences, with an impact on higher education, leadership and governance. Adina is also the first global ambassador for Northwestern University in Romania.
