The CGLG serves as a focal point for discussions concerning the scholarly and policy dimensions of global governance in its many manifestations. We are specifically committed to examining the theoretical, empirical, and normative dimensions of transnational cooperation – and competition – in a diverse array of issue areas.
The Centre’s work is organised under five core thematic pillars: (1) peace and security; (2) trade and development; (3) rights and ethics; (4) environment and migration; and (5) leadership and agency. The CGLG supports research undertaken individually and collaboratively under these themes.
